E-Go Solutions offers new alternative to VSAT - Land

Businesses with offices in areas where the local infrastructure does not provide the data capacity or quality required for extending their corporate IT network, are now being offered a low-cost alternative to VSAT from satellite solutions experts E-Go Solutions.

E-Go Solutions new Broad-IP service uses the latest DVB technology to provide on-demand, IP access independent of the local infrastructure. Unlike many ‘best-effort’ solutions available on the market, E-Go is providing guaranteed service availability with low contention ratios. This provides businesses with a cost-effective and high-quality broadband solution for remote site operations.

Sally-Anne Ray, Sales Director, E-Go Solutions partner, NSSL, commented: “E-Go’s new Broad-IP service is a flexible alternative to VSAT as it offers the same ease of use at a fraction of the running cost. We have already installed the product for customers with fixed office sites in the media, mining and oil exploration sectors to provide a LAN with VPN access to their corporate networks.”

E-Go Solutions is providing three service options – Economy, Standard and Premium ranging from 128kb/s – 512 kb/s from site (outbound), and 512 kb/s– 2Mb/s to site (inbound). A Voice over IP (VoIP) service with up to 8 dedicated voice channels is also available.

Cost planning and control is simple: there is one low monthly charge for unlimited data usage, starting at just $950 per month for a 128kb/s / 512 kb/s (outbound/inbound) service. Terminal unit prices start from $5,250.

Peter Crafter, Managing Director, E-Go Solutions partner, TET, said ‘E-Go Solutions has the expertise and experience of integrating satellite systems with corporate networks required by corporations expanding their operations into remote and sometimes hostile environments. E-Go’s Broad-IP service is bespoke , tailored for location, usage and size of operation and we are well positioned to provide the service and support required for successful DVB installations’.

E-Go Solutions is offering a range of Ku band and C band fixed systems to meet customers’ projected requirements. Coverage is dependent on the service purchased, but covers the US, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
E-Go Solutions provides global support including installation, system integration and service. For customers based in the Middle East, E-Go Solutions has a local office and provides support in English and Arabic.
