Using
the latest DVBS2-RCS technology, Broad-IP can provide on-demand
internet access, always-on connectivity and voice services at a
fraction of the running costs of traditional satellite communication.
Unlike
many other competitive broadband services, Broad-IP provides a guaranteed
quality of service and contracted contention ratios. We provide
airtime packages of up to 2Mb of bandwidth through a choice of contended
or dedicated airtime options.

Broad-IP
Dedicated Packages:
For
those customers who need a guaranteed throughput at all times. NSSL
offers dedicated airtime packages up to 3Mb/s for either one site
or shared across a number of sites.
Premium
Voice:
NSSL
has officially launched its low cost toll-quality voice service
for its Broad-IP users. The NSSL service works over NSSL's Broad-IP
service and provides a guaranteed toll quality voice service through
the satellite and into the terrestrial network. This is distinguished
from other competitor offering's of VOIP (voice over Internet Protocol)
systems which tend to be erratic even over one phone call, due to
the voice quality being affected by data traffic usage both from
the specific users and other sites, who all contend for the same
satellite and internet capacity. 'Premium voice' is provided at
a much lower cost than rival providers. Calls typically cost $0.25
per minute to the US, an all inclusive package for unlimited calls
to the US and site to site is also available.
