Broad-IP MARINE from NSSL

Whether operating on an offshore drilling platform, an exploration vessel , or managing a large commercial vessel, the transfer of large, time critical files is a high priority. Whilst an Inmarsat link using Inmarsat-B or Fleet 77 High Speed Data is adequate for day to day business use, it does not always provide the capacity required; and on the other hand a VSAT link may provide a dedicated circuit with high bandwidth, the set up and running costs are high.

NSSL can now provide a low cost alternative to VSAT, offering high quality broadband IP at a fraction of the running costs, and in the locations where you need service most.

Service Guarantee

Cruise-IP provides a guaranteed quality of service by using low contention ratios of a maximum 12:1. We are offering 3 airtime packages over two coverage areas with data rates from 128kb/s - 2Mb and a Voice over IP service with up to 8 dedicated voice channels.

Service Inbound (To ship) Inbound (From ship) Voice over IP (Optional)
Economy 512 Kb/s 128 Kb/s 2 Channels
Standard 1 mb/s 256 Kb/s 4 Channels
Premium 2 Mb/s 512 Kb/s 8 Channels
